One of the most popular concealed handguns, the Glock 43 is most likely to be used for concealed carry or some form of self defense. So you need to make sure you have a Glock 43 holster that is optimized for these roles. There are many carry positions you can use the Glock 43 in, and we'll cover them below. This will give you a good overview of what to look for in a Glock 43 holster.
Comparing The Glock 43x To The Glock 43: In Depth Analysis
Finding the right Glock 43 concealed carry for your carry position, of course, starts with what carry position is right for you. We will have many different options, the most common and common places to carry the Glock 43 will be inside the waistband or on the tight side or in the appendage, as well as in the small of the back. For safety reasons, we do not recommend holding the gun close to your back with the small of the rear.
Carrying the gun in this position every day causes long-term back problems. And if you trip and fall on your back, or have to fight and the gun gets lodged in your spine, it can cause more serious damage. You carry a gun to protect life, not to hurt it. So you want to start by making sure your life is protected and your health is protected for the long term. An option that many may consider is wearing an ankle brace.
Ankle carries were very popular in many 1980s movies and still hold some power today, but long-term health should be considered with the Ankle Carry. When you wear a 16-ounce gun on your ankle, you dramatically increase the likelihood of long-term joint problems. Unfortunately, a loaded Glock 43 weighs 16 ounces. So if you are looking for an ankle carry, I would suggest looking at a Glock 42 or something smaller and lighter like the Smith & Wesson 340 J-Frame pistol.
Another option is pocket carry, the Glock 43 is small enough to carry in a pocket for some, but will be a bit large for most. With my frame, I can't easily pocket the Glock 43, although it can be done. Again, this is probably a better fit for the Glock 42, or maybe we could be looking at something like the Smith & Wesson J-Frame or Ruger LCP series. Let's take a look at each carry position and learn what to look for in a concealed carry Glock 43 designed for those specific positions.

As mentioned earlier, the two most common and best options for IWB carry would be the attachment carry and the strong side carry. Carrying an appendix basically means moving forward towards the hips. Whereas for a right-handed user, strong side wear lasts three to five hours. Both of these positions have their pros and cons, and there are different features you'll want to look for in a nest made for these positions. Having the right Glock 43 IWB holster means you can comfortably carry the gun all day long.
There are several things to consider when it comes to your strengths, first and foremost is your body type. If you have a very flat rear, a Glock 43 length case will work well.
But if the rear end is quieter, you might want to consider carrying your Glock 43 in a Glock 48 holster. The reason for this is that a short pistol like a Glock 43 can catch your rear end. When carrying the weapon in a Glock 48 holster, it moves the holster to the rear end. And it will sit nicely on top as opposed to pouring into it.
The downside to the Glock 48 holster is obviously that it will stand up in the later area. So if you have a shorter shirt tail, it can print through your pants, making it more obvious that you're carrying a gun. As always, there is no such thing as a perfect world. So you have to decide which scenario works best for you, whether you are using a 48 or a Glock 43 related holster, you need to make sure the holster is very well rounded.

Once it sits behind you, it will be much more comfortable. Think of the tennis ball sitting close to your body as opposed to the rough cut end of a two-by-four. A tennis ball will be much more comfortable than a square two-by-four.
To maximize concealment when riding in this position, you need to make sure your holster has an adjustable fence. I offer zero to 30 degree firearm sizes. You can get away with 20 degrees, but there's no downside to camping up to 30 degrees, and it gives you more options if your body type is a little out of the norm. There are two reasons you want a Glock 43 holster with an adjustable channel. The first reason will be hiding.
For the pistol to be concealed while you want the pistol grip to lay flat and sit on your kidney without printing.
Adjustable Cant allows you to adjust which angle works best to achieve this. The second reason is the painting stroke. You want your hand to naturally meet the grip of the gun as you draw it. So you will be able to choose your optimal draw shot as well. Sometimes these two Kants are the same, sometimes not. You can adjust the position of the holsters on your belt to try and match them. As with anything else, you may have to make trade-offs and decide whether drawing or concealing is more important to you. The Glock 43 is such a small gun. This isn't really a problem for most people.

Wearing an attachment is usually very hidden. And a small handgun like the Glock 43 makes it even easier. Carrying a Glock 43 attachment holster is not without its challenges. The Glock 43 is a very short gun. And while that may seem counterintuitive, it actually makes concealed carry in the appendix difficult, at least difficult to cover comfortably. This is due to leverage and pressures. When you wear an appendix, you usually wear it in a natural pocket between your groin and inner thigh. The goal is to fill the entire pocket with the nest. It may seem counterintuitive, but when you fill the entire pocket, you're doing a really good job of spreading the pressure. This pressure is created because most of the Glock 43, when holstering the 43 clip, fits above the belt line. You will have the weight of the magazine as well as half of the slide above the belt line.
Your body is going to push the weapon away from your body. And then gravity will want to bring the gun down to the ground. This will cause the butt of the gun to drop into your groin. With a shorter pad that puts a lot of pressure on a certain spot, it creates what we call a hot spot. Hot spots mean discomfort, we want to avoid them. A long stock like a Glock 48 will spread that pressure and prevent a hot spot. There is also another device called a wedge, which we will talk about later. A wedge will also help. Another important feature of the Glock 43 mounting holster is the height adjustment. Ride height is important for three main reasons. Hide, draw speed and convenience. As mentioned earlier, comfort is determined by how the holster fits in the pocket between the groin and thigh. With the adjustable ride height, you can adjust the seat to suit your needs
